Kid Sister is part of all the fun things happening in the Chicago hip hop scene at the moment, i.e. Cool Kids and the Flosstradamus production team, who happens to count her older brother as a member! See how that works? Anyhow, check out these songs with some nice production tricks from Flosstradamus, XXXChange (Spank Rock) and A-Trak (he knows Kanye!). Ah, I've neglected hip hop. Me sorry. But here are a couple of gems from Chicago's aptly named Cool Kids. The lead MC has a slight Lil Wayne vibe to his flow (okay, I need to stop writing like I know anything about hip hop). The lead MC kinda sounds like Lil Wayne sometimes and I think that's good. I love the smooth, minimalist beats too. There's really not much I don't like about this. Get dancey.
