This Cardiff 7-piece is overflowing with the fun. Akin to Architecture In Helsinki, but less, um, whimsical maybe? Not really sure if a word has been invented to differentiate each group, but they are definitely uniquely their own. And they have friends at Arts & Crafts and Wichita Records, witch is definitely a good thing. These guys have earned every single bit of their exclamation point!!!!!!!!

This song is extra fresh and my new mantra for this little blog thing. Definitely be sure to check out the video - you won't be disappointed. I wish a track like this would go over as well in the states as in the UK, but I'm not sure we're there yet. Like it!

English singer/songwriter/violinist/composer extraordinaire Patrick Wolf's The Magic Position has been my favorite record of 2007 thus far. I love his upbeat, quirky, electronically fringed tracks, but these two that bring a close to the album are some of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Don't believe me? Try them!
